The overall appearance of the Team Magic M1-B has set the RC world buzzing! However it's the finer details which will let you see that Team Magic really means business on the track - or just in your backyard!
Team Magic's engineers and RC drivers have spent a great deal of time testing the prototype car, making sure it delivers both extreme levels of performance and reliability. A lot of time has been spent on the development of the suspension, transmission and weight saving. In fact the production car is considerably lighter than the prototype - some 200gms, a massive increase in on-track performance, with no reduction in reliability. This has been done by the clever use of high tech materials and packaging. But still keeping within the stunning concept, which is the M1.
The rough surface performance has been augmented with the removal of the alloy stiffening tube in the lower 'Flying Wing' wishbones. This makes them lighter, with a lower unsprung weight for better damage control. Plus they improve stability, allowing you to really attack the bumps and jumps. By cleverly refining the composite they are made from, no strength is lost and they keep their easy clean, aerodynamic shape and style.
Further strength has been added to the alloy chassis, which is now made without the removable PC plates, increasing its torsional rigidity. To keep its weight low, all excess material has been removed from low stress areas - but with no cuts sealing the underside from dust and dirt, helping keep the car much cleaner.
One big change is the inclusion of a clear body shell in the kit to allow customized paint schemes. Five themed body shells will be available as an option part.
